Friday the 30^thof August – Regatta Party

A 1940’s themed Swing Dance Supper at Bursledon Village Hall. Starting at 19:30 – Carriages at 23:30

Saturday the 7^th of September – The Regatta

Saturday Morning

Sailing Dinghy racing – The scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race is 10.25. The start is at Crableck Beacon, River Hamble. Enter the dinghy race

The prize giving for the Dinghy races is to be at Warsash Sailing Club at 19:30

Saturday Afternoon

At the Regatta site – Hamble Southern Quay, between the Beach Hut Cafe and Hamble River SC:

Bar opens at 1300
Pizza, BBQ, Tea & Cake and Ice cream are available on Regatta site
Raffle / Gin Raffle
Fete, Rowing and Fun races

AFTERNOON EVENTS FROM 1400
Bursledon Gig Races – Timed starts commencing at 1400
1	Rowing – Single handed – inflatable
2	Rowing – Men’s Single handed – rigid dinghy 12’ 6” or under
3	Rowing – Double-handed – both rowing – inflatable
4	Rowing – Ladies Single Handed – rigid dinghy 12’ 6” or under
5	Rowing – any dinghy – Juniors – under 16s
6	Paddleboard – a fun short race, small Child or Doggie passenger welcome
7	Rowing – any dinghy – Juniors – under 12s
8	Rowing – any dinghy – Ladies and Men’s 2 handed – 1 oar each – any dinghy under 12’ 6”
WATER CARNIVAL – Floats with a D Day Theme
9	Egg & Spoon race – Inflatable dinghy, 1 rowing. Passenger standing holding spoon (bring egg and spoon)
10	Oldies Race – Single handed over 65 – any dinghy 12’ 6” or under
11	Blindfold Race – Blindfolded rower with passenger
12	4-handed Paddling race – 4 persons paddling an inflatable dinghy with hands

Saturday evening

21:00 – Fireworks. On the Hamble River on the Warsash side of the river, opposite the Hamble Southern Quay,

A spectacular professional Fireworks display.

Regatta close 2130

Sunday the 8th of September – Yacht Racing.

Enter the yacht race

The scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race is 10.35. The start is at Bald Head buoy, Southampton Water.

The prize giving for the Dinghy races is to be at Hamble River Sailing Club at 17:00
