This year’s Bursledon, Swanwick and Warsash ‘A Right Royal Regatta’ themed regatta will focus on racing for yachts, dinghies and rowing gigs, as well as providing lots of entertainment in front of the beach and a fantastic firework display! In traditional regatta style there will be lots of fun events to enter or watch. Favourites include a water carnival, egg-and-spoon rowing race, paddleboarding and much more. Details of the events and festive food and drink will be published here later in the year.
KEEL BOAT RACING

Yacht racing in the Solent on Sunday morning followed by prize giving in the afternoon.

DINGHY RACING

Dinghy racing in the river Hamble on Saturday morning. Sailors of all ages welcome.

GIG RAcing

Selected Gig teams will race on Saturday afternoon

WATER CARNIVAL

Create a float decorated in this year’s theme and enter the highly contested competition.

FUN ON THE WATER

From egg and spoon races to blindfolded rowing, there is lots to enjoy  – just be prepared to get wet.

FOOD AND DRINK

Tea, cakes, BBQ, ice-creams and a bar, there is plenty of food and drink to buy on the day.

PADDLE BOARDING

There are two races to enter – including a long distance race for the more serious contenders

FIREWORKS

Themed fireworks to music on the Saturday night. The Regatta fireworks are renowned for being spectacular!

FRIDAY NIGHT PARTY

Fancy dress, a bar and live music and dancing open to supporters “Friends” of the Regatta.
